journalism, academia and transparency of information is the title of the seminar to be delivered by next Tuesday 16 November at the UNICACH, President Fundación Manuel Buendía, Omar Raúl Martínez, and investigative reporter, Daniel Lizárraga.
The seminar, which is aimed at training professional communicators and seeks to carry knowledge for analysis and reflection about the relationship between journalism democracy in order to evaluate and locate the importance of the right of access to information in the national context.
Among the topics to be discussed include: reporting, democracy and access to information, types journalistic research, strategies for public information request, file management and document classification and meaning, significance and social function of journalism.
Omar Raúl Martínez is president of the Fundación Manuel Buendía, director of the Journal of Communication and Journalism Professor at the School of Advanced Studies of Acatlán UNAM.
is also a member Editorial Board Notimex news agency of the Mexican state and is part of the Editorial Board of the electronic magazine Reason and Word ITESM. is the author of books Manuel Buendia in the trenches of journalism, journalism ethics codes in Mexico, Edmundo Valadés have permission and essence of journalism.
Daniel Lizárraga is national award for journalism and investigative reporter for the magazine process. He studied journalism at the School of Advanced Studies Acatlán. In 2008 won first place at the call of the House Mondadori publishing Radmon to finance a long-winded journalistic research.
currently teaches courses in public universities on the development of research reports with Manuel Buendía Foundation and the IFAI.
The seminar will be held on November 16 from 12:00 to 20:00 pm in the University Center Information and Documentation, located opposite Indeportes. Those interested should be in that place. They need to have for the seminar with a laptop.
