The usual way of writing a second degree equation is either: ax 2 + bx + c = 0 . Find out the value of "a", "b" and "c" in the following quadratic equations.
a) 3x 2 + 2x - 3 = 0
Sol: a = 3, b = 2, c = -3
b) x 2 + x = 0
Sol: a = 1, b = 1, c = 0
c) 3/2x - 2x + 5 = 0
Sol: a = -1, b = 3 / 2, c = 5
d) 6 - x 2 = 0
Sol: a = -1, b = 0, c = 6
e) 2x - 3 = x 2
Sol: a = -1, b = 2, c = -3
f) 3 + 5x 2 = 3 / 2
Sol: a = 5, b = 0, c = 3 / 2
